It is a summer collegiate baseball league designed for college-level players to compete at a high level during the offseason. The league focuses on player development, competitive play, and exposure to professional opportunities.
Active college baseball players (typically from NCAA, NAIA, or NJCAA programs) who are eligible for summer competition. Players are selected by teams based on recommendations, performance, and roster needs.
Games are played across the Gulf Coast region of the United States. The season runs during the summer, usually from late May through July or early August, with a competitive schedule and regional travel.
